Emperor has gained three first and three secocid prizes, and is got by the renowned Napoleon (imported by Mr J. Nimmo). Napoleon. by George Buchananjs Emperor, out of Nancy, bred by Alexander Finlay, Esq. Sandyhills, near Glasgow, Nancy by the celebrated Garnary horse ; her dam is Scot man. LOUIS D’Or is a chestnut Horse g years old standing over 16 bands hit-li with great power and is by that celebrated horse TRADUCER, sire fo Lurlioe, Calumny, Templeton, Sir Modred and a host of well known winners out of the imported mare Rupee, (late Half Crown). Rupee is by Dollar, the best son of the Flying Dutchman winner of the Derby and St. Ledger of 1549. Dol.lar son the Northamptonshire Stakes and Goodwood Cup in 1564, and is the sire of Salvator, winner of the Grand Prix de Paris in 1875 Salvator was the sire ot the sire of the Duke of Hamilton’s Ossian, which won the St. Ledger, 18S3, and ran second in the Goodwood Cup in ISS4, Louis D’Or received first honors three years in succession as the best thoroughbred entire at the Marlborough Agricultural Show, and ran second to Grip in the C. J.C. Handicap when a throe year old. MiDnouche dam of Rupee is by (he Baron, sire of Stockwell and Rataplan. Louis D’Or will visit Havelock on Mondays (weather permitting); at Spring Creek, on Tuesdays ; Blenheim, Wednesdays and Saturdays ; Picton, Fridays ; at our stables Thursdays.
