; .v- -NOTES--AND- COMMENTS:. ( .' ; (By “Buliseye”) On Saturday last a trophy shoot was held over the 200 and 300 yards ranges for a trophy presented by Mr. Ray Harris, and was won by G. Sutherland with the splendid grand total of 965. Sutherland is rapidly justifying the reference to form written in this column some weeks ago. His 47 at 300 yards was particularly brilliant for a beginner.

There were some fine scores for both ranges, and among these was King’s 48 at 200 yards, which ran: 5545 45 5 5 55. King’s total was 94 over both ranges. H. W. Rollett compiled a solid 47 at 200 yards and a 45 at 300 yards. At 300 yards there were no less than three 47’s. The .best was Sutherland’s, which ran: 544555555 4. F. Pilcher’s 47 was as follows: 5 4 5' 5 4 5 5 5 5 4. W. M. Griffiths’ 47 should have met with a better fate as it contained eight bulls, as follows: 55555555 34. , L, Park ran up a solid 46.

Following • are the grand totals with handicaps added: G. Sutherland, 962 H. R. King, 95; F. Pilcher, 93; W. M. Griffiths, 93; H.. W. Roiiett, 92; L. Park, 91; D. Raethel, 91; R. de Luen, 83. On Saturday next a shoot will be held over 500 and 600 yards ranges, when the handicaps stated will prevail. So far there has been no trophy allotted for this shoot: W. M. Griffiths, scr; H. W. Rollett, 1; R. Rollett, 12; H. R. King, 2; W. Butler and G. Sutherland, 22; A. Pilcher, 32; C. Landells, H, Kneebone and O. Stanley, 4; F. Pilcher, 42; L. Park, 52; R. de Luen, 6; C. C.
