PLAY AT MATAMATA Only two games were played at Bedford Park on Saturday, as the Putaruru clubs played each other at Putaruru, and Wardville and Gordon ] could not field teams, owing to the harvesting of ensilage and hay making demands on the players. On the old No. 1 pitch Okauia and Old Boys, made big scores.Against Hinuera, Matamata had their chances, but dropped catches resulted in a big defeat. HINUERA v. MATAMATA Hinuera won by 106 runs.
