Hinuera.
HALL ENVIRONS A strong working bee was organised last week by the Hinuera Hall Committee for the purpose of further filling and levelling work in front of the hall. As is characteristic of . such efforts in this district, settlers attended in full • force with horses, drays and other implements, and good work was done. The idea of this latest effort was to put the 1 environs of the hall in such a condition that advantage could be taken of the roadihg contract which is to be started after Christmas for bituminising the road. The Hinuera Cooperative Dairy Company is also joining in this work, so that,, when completed next year, the whole frontages of the hall and the dairy factory will be bituminised. This idea has been long in the minds of the committee, which has kept the hall one of the most up to date in Waikato, as it has been the committee’s ambition to minimise the dust nuisance at dances.
