Cricket

PLAY AT MATAMATA Some Surprise ■ i In spite of the uncertain weather in the early morning, cricketers enjoyed a good day’s sport at Bedford Park, on Saturday, and results of games were somewhat surprising. Indeed, so even are the teams at the moment, and so keen are the players, that it is very difficult for anyone to forecast the result of any particular match. This has added to the interest and each Saturday sees a few more spectators in attendance to witness the eight teams at play.
