Sister J. M. Ferguson, who has practised her profession as a nurse at Matamata for the past 14 years, has disposed of the Braeside private hospital and will be leaving Matamata. It is Sister Ferguson’s intention to remain in Auckland for a short time, after which she - will leave on a holiday visit to Great Britain. Sister Ferguson came to Matamata 14 years ago, and purchased the old Braeside Hospital in Tainui street, which had been established by the Sisters Riddell, formerly of the Auckland Hospital. As this was too small Sister Ferguson built the present hospital on Hinuera road.
