MATAMATA REGENT !| '' \ “ King of the Damned,” a drama of prison life, featuring Conrad Veidt, Helen Vinson and Noah Beery, will have its final screening to-night (Monday). On the same programme is “ Shadow of Doubt,” a detective mystery, featurng Ricardo Cortez and Virginia Bruce. Thrills in song, dance, laughter and drama are seen in “ King of Burlesque,” which will be shown on Tuesday and Wednesday. .Featuring Warner Baxter, Alice Faye, Jack Oakie and Arline Judge, the picture is full of lovely girls, haunting tunes, romance and comedy. Over 2000 extras and dancers and a score of old burlesque stars were employed. ‘
