MRS. EMILY ROBINS
The death occurred recently at Point Chevalier, Auckland, of an old and respected resident of Turanga-o-moana, and formerly of Motumaoho, in the person of Mrs. Emily Robins. Deceased was the third daughter of the late -Mr.' and Mrs. Boryer, who were pioneers of the Waiwera district,' and wife of Mr. Archibald Frank Robins. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Robins were dairy farming for 12 years' in the Eureka district and later for 10 years at Motumaoho. For 11 years they were at Turanga-o-moana in partnership with Mr. Mockridge, who is a son-in-law. The late Mrs. Robins had been ailing for some months but made a good recovery. However, the end came suddenly when she was posting a letter . The interment took place at Matamata cemetery, the Rev. J. W. Burley officiating. Mrs. Robins is survived by her husband and one daughter, Miss Robins, of Auckland. Another daughter, Mrs. Mockridge, predeceased her mother some years ago.
