PEDIGREE BULL
ON PUTARURU FARM A yearling pedigree Jersey bull of outstanding quality and exceptional butterfat backing has recently arrived for the Gowanbrae Jersey Stud owned by Mr. E. M. Peffers. The dam has won many first prizes and championships from calfhood upwards and has also ,won the Johnny Walker Cup for the best three-year-old, open to all breeds, from seventeen entries. She has three C.O.R. and has taken first prize at the last Royal Show. The 'sire won first prize at the 1932 Royal Show and has numerous other first prizes and championships. The bull’s grandsire also has taken many first prizes and championships, including the Royal. The records behind this valuable bull range up to 10561 b of fat and several of his dams hold five records. He was bred .by Mr. Guy H. Bell, president of the Jersey Breeders’ Association.
