A PLEATED BRIM.
Soft pliable straw in steel grey toning was chosen by Verna Hillie for her winter hat. Miss Hillie. who will make her screen debut in Paramount’s “ Under the Tonto Rim,” has , fair curly hair and it is shown to advantage under this model, which ’ is cocked perkily over the right eye, showing her long bob at the back. The brim is just a mere suspicion , of a pleated frill raised on the back bandeau, and chromium bow in the ' front is the only accessory. This chic little hat is worn with j the new high neckline, and over it, ! Miss Hillie adds a steel grey polo coat, smartly trimmed with slit 1 pockets.
