Personal. Mr. and Mrs. Fawcett and son have returned from Clevedon, after having attended the golden wedding of Mr. Fawcett’s parents. Mrs. C. Wood has returned from' a trip to Auckland. Miss 0. Mudford has been on holiday, visiting friends and relatives in the Waikato. Miss F. Franklin has returned from a holiday. Miss Fraser is the guest of Mrs. Webster, of Campbell’s road. Five Hundred Evening. A very enjoyable evening was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. Dixon, of Campbell’s road, on Thursday, when a card party was held in connection with the Campbell’s road Tennis Club. There were about 30 guests present, and supper was provided by lady members. The winners of the 500 tournament were Mrs. J. B. Steele and Mr. W. Keutenius.
