Matamata. Mrs. P. T. Keane, of Matamata, is on holiday in Rotorua. Mrs. H. Keeley, of Matamata, is spending a week in Hamilton, where she is the guest of her parents. Mrs. K. E. Buchanan, who has returned from a brief visit to Auckland, left on Wednesday for Rotorua where she is spending a few days’ holiday. Mr. A. A. Thompson, of Timaru, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. Banks, at Matamata. Miss Nin Henderson, of Okoroire Railway, accompanied by her brothers, Messrs. J. and L. Henderson, is on a holiday in Auckland. Putaruru. Miss M. Martin, of Frankton, was a visitor to Putaruru during the week-end. Mrs. J. Barnes and Mr. Keith Barnes have returned from a holiday spent in the North. Mr. and Mrs. C. Sharvi have returned from a holiday spent in Auckland. Mr. J. M. Spear, of Auckland, was a visitor to Putaruru during the week.

Miss Osborne. of Hamilton, is staying With her sister, Mrs. H. J. Barford, Thames street. Mr. and Mrs. Ashford, from Auckland, have taken up their residence at Tahuna road,* Morrinsville. Mr. and Mrs. S. Pickett and Mr. and Mrs. Nesbitt, who have been the guests of Mrs. F. A. Pickett, Studholme street, have returned to Gisborne.
