At the luncheon which followed the annual meeting of the Council of tho British Research Association for the Woollen and Worsted Industries at the Midland Hotel Bradford, recently, Lord Barnby said there was a growing realisation that research work justified the attention .it was beginning to receive from the industry. A scheme for equable contributions to this work from all sections of the /ndustry had been worked out. They could not state definitely that the scheme had been accepted by all sections, but it was hoped it would be in the course of a few weeks. It needed only the right outlook in one section of the industry to make possible it s accomplishment.
