MEAT FROM SOUTH AMERICA.
The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended March 13 from Argentine and Uruguay: Chilled 8eef.— 301,270 quarters. . Frozen 8eef.—12,185 quarters. Frozen Mutton.—ll4,sso carcases. Frozen Lamb.—253,900 carcases. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows: — Frozen 8eef.— 83,998 quarters. Frozen Mutton.—lß,7so carcases. Frozen Lamb.—Bß 3 carcases.
