Although this does nr t conform to the strict definition of a sandwich, it is very delicious and most decorative for pa .ties. \ Slice tread thinly, and cut into { fingers (roagbly four inches long and ’ two inches wide). I Hard boil one or two eggs; cool; J chop yolks and whites, keeping them separate. Now lay half an anchovy along the eentre of each bread finger. On one side of this pile chopped white of egg, anO on the other chopped yolk. _ F-prinkle a little finely chopped parsley over all.
