t The formation of a footpath along the main street at Tirau is now under way, scoops, etc., being used to do the work. " An authoritative denial is given the report that Mr. Bayley, of Okoroirc, had bought out his neighbour, Mr. K. Campbell, jun. Both Messrs. Bayley and Campbell deny that there has been any suggestion between them for such a sale. The death of Mr B. Syms, a fanner on the Tirau-Cambridgo road, occurred ou Wednesday, November 2-ltli, at his residence. The interment took place at Cambridge on the following Sunday.
