The yarding of cuttle and the attendance at the stock sale held by the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., at Tirau yesterday (Wednesday) were both moderately good, and the demand for most lines was fairly keen. The prices realised were as follows:—Dairy cows and heifers, £5 10s to £l4 ss, average about £!) 14s; three-year steers, £l3 17s 6d; fat cows up to £l2; yearling steers, £3 17s Gd; 18-month steers, £2 18s to £4; yearling heifers, £3 16s; two-year heifers, £5 5s to £8 ss.
