A MATTER OF FUNDS.
(To the Editor.) Dear Sir,—Wo notice in your issue of November 25 that a dance, to be hold in Putaruru on 3rd December, is advertised as in "Aid of Bachelors' Ball Committee." We thank the promoters for the interest they have displayed on our behalf, and would like to point out that as all the. accounts have been paid, the committee is not in need of any monetary assistance, and would suggest the funds be donated to some worthy object, i.e., Public Hall funds, or to beautifying the Memorial Park. Wishing them every success, and hoping some worthy object will benefit as a result of their endeavours, we are, etc., BACHELORS' BALL COMMITTEE.
