ROS-EWARN Ei —ROBERTSON A pretty wedding was sol unused on the afternoon of September 5, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wanaka, the contracting parties being Maxwell, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J. H Rose war ne, of Torrens Park Adelaide. and Rosa El ten, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs James Robertson, of Caidron a. The Rev. Mr Cardno officiated. Mrs Sinclair presided at the organ and the church was tastefully decorated with huge bowls of japonic a. The bride made an attractive picture in a beautiful gown of whiteembossed satin, featuring a fagottod V-shaped neckline and long full sievesdrawn in at the wrist with a tight band of fagotti,ng. From the bustle ■effect at the back of the gown there (extended a Jong sweeping strain. A veil—warn over the face—was held with a top-knot of white camellias •and a sheaf of lilies was carried. HANSEN—WHYTE. A wedding of local interest was solemnised at St’. Pauls Church, Invercargill recently, when Margaret Isabel, second daughter of Mr and Mrs P. A. BRYANT—SHEEN AN A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised In First Church, Dunedin, by the Rev. Stevely on Wednesday, September 18. The contracting .parties were Constance, daughter of Mrs Sheenan, George Street. Dunedin, and Richard Henry, eldest son of ,Mr and Mrs T. E. Bryant, Kin-loch, Lake Wakatipu. Miss' Nancy Reid, neice of the bride, also acted as bridesmaid and wore a frock of figured voile, and hat, coat and accessories of vieu rase and carried a bouquet similar to that of the chief bridesmaid. : The bridegroom was attended by his two brothers, Mr T. Bryant, as best man, and Mr E. Bryant as the groomsman . The reception was held in Crawford Lounge, where' the guests were received by Mrs Sheen.au, who wore a black frock, hat shoes and gloves and a fur cape, and was assisted by Mrs Bryant, who was attired in a navy ensemble Each carried a matching posie of hyacinths and maiden ha i.r fern.
