Pearce equal 1, Anderson and Johnston equal 2. $ The following is. the draw for the second round: —Ladies: Mrs Campbelll v scorer, Mrs Saunders v Mrs James, Mrs Reed v Mrs Hagigitt. Mrs Douglas v Miss McLauchlin. Men. —K, Ferguson v A. Reid, W. R. Shaw v Reed, Erridge vT. Shaw, Anderson v A. D. Pearce, S. Pearce v Johnston., N, Pearce v scorer. Matches to be played on 14th and 15th September only.
