Mr W. H. Jolly, Miss Jolly a.nd Miss Lethbridge, of Tarnas. were visitors to ArrcAAdOAvn over the weekend as the guests of Mr and Mrs D. Anderson.
Airs I. B. Eitchie, tOAvn clerk, who is at present on sick leave, left for Dunedin yesterday morning.
The death occurred at his home. Tisbury, Southland. on Wednesday last of Mr John Flynn, a, former wellknown and popular resident of Skippers, aged 72 years. Before going to Southland about fifteen years age, deceased Avas licensee of the hotel at Skippers, and he also engaged .in carrying between Queenstown and Skippers. He is survived by his widow end a groAvn-up family.
