PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE.
STATEMENT FOR JULY, 1937. Estates of value of £669,371 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of July, 1937, compared with £520,153 for July 1936. The total value of estates under adminisitration by the Public Trustee on the 31st March, 1937, was £G0,770,8J4j, and the new business for 4 months ended July 31, 1937, was £2,014,574, compared with £1,975,014 for the corresponding period last year. Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 163 for the month. During the month 360 new Avills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 301 existing wills were revised to provide dor change© desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 89,103. -,ii . : , % , I
