ARROW B. j The above teams met in a friendly i match on the Arrow ground on Saturday afternoon last, and, after an evenly contested game, Arrow Avon by 15 points (3 tries, 1 converted, and a field goal) to 12 (four unconvertedtries). NEW ZEALAND WINS THREE TESTS. On Saturday Nbav Zealand teams Avere engaged in international contests in four branches of sport, three of which they Avon. The Ncav Zealand Rugby team met the visiting South African side at Wellington and Avon the Rugby League Test match by 16 points to 15. The Ncav Zealand men’s hockey team defeated Australia at Sydney on Saturday by one goal to nil. There AA*as very little play in the cricket Test match betAveen Ncav Zealand and England at Pennington Oval, London, on Saturday .because of rain and the match Avill probably be drawn. THE TEACHERS’ CUP. The first challenge for the Teachers Cup Avill be played at AnwtoAvn on Saturday next betAveen QueenstOAvn and ArroAV.
