LAKE COUNTY HOSPITAL.

The following reports concerning Lake County hospital were laid on the table at the monthly meeting of the Southland Hospital Board on Thursday last: Statistical. Patient? remainirg Ist August. 1936. G males, 4 females: admitted during August. 9 males, 5 ‘females; discharged during August, 7 ma’.csl, 1 female; died during August. 1 male, 1 female: remaining Ist September, 7 males, 7 females.. ‘There were 4 opoia.iov.s during the month and l 6 outpatiei.t attendances. Medical Superintendent’s Report. August was an except, onally busy month, the medical .superintendent (Dr. IV. A. Anderson) stated in his report. Twenty-four patients had been under treatment, which must be almost a record. For some of the time 16 patients —the hospital’s full complement— had been under treatment at the same time. Everything at the institution was working well, however. There had been two deaths during the month, while eight patients had been discharged.
