The death occurred at Dunedin on the 2Gtii ult of a former resident of Arrowtown, in the person of Airs Carewell. wife of Air Samuel King Carswell. Deceased was the elder daughter of the late Air John Elliott, who was for many years mine manager of the Premier quartz mine at Macetown. She is survived by heir husband and three daughters and two sons. One of the sons is Ur. Gars well, of Dunedin.
