Kingston-Queenstown Road.
MU BODKIN FAVOURS COMPLETION A plea for the completion of the Kingston-Queenstown road was made in the House of Representatives during the debate, ou the Address-in-Reply by Mr W. A. Bodkin, M.P for Central Otago. Mr Bodkin stressed the fact that the Government had already expended £30,000 on the construction of the road and mentioned that it was an important link between the provinces of Otago and Southland. After remarking on the work already carried out on the road Mr Bodkin said: “It would be infinitely better to put men on the KingstonQueenstown road, supplementing their wages, if necessary, out of Ran money, so that this work could .be carried on, than to employ them on unproduelivc works such as are being undertaken by local bodies under No. 5 Scheme. The road would provide a highway between Otago and Southland and, as a business proposition, it would be money well spent. - ” The only way to treat a cough is at the points of" infection—the rnoutih, and tliroat.
