J. T. Lynidi showed up the possibilities of the bat by his boundary strokes against Arrow. The infusion of young blood in the local team has strengtheinod it considerably. Hood, G. Lynch, Gardiner, and Rutherford know how to present the straight bat to the ball. J. M. Romans also showed what the bat will do. With a little coaching by Mr H. Sew Hoy these young players should prove to l>e. the backbone of the team. H Sew Hoy was conspicuous by his i absence from the team. His wielding of the bat is usually a feature, of the games. \y .H. Re Ison is sending down some stingers to the batsmen. Arrow have a good team** which no doubt will be proved hi.ter.
