The German press continues boasting, but. a Russian military expert, Feretz, says tnat eight months' comparative quiet on the western front, have, permitted the Allies to regain their force and greatly reinforce their armies. Tno war is only just beginning. The Russian armies are prepared to make any sacrifice even if they arc obliged to retreat into the depths of the enormous eastern theatre- of war which is capable of swallowing crowds of new Huns. They will boldly assume, when necs'sary, a general and victorious offensive jointly with our friends. v The Kaiser, acknowledging the King of Wurtemburg's congratulatory telegram, said "We can see in the fall of Warsaw a significant step on the road along which the Almighty by His grace nas led us. Relying on Him and on our glorious troops we shall continue the fight to an honourable peace." ,
