WEDDING BELLS.

The Easter season of 1908, or, perhaps, more correctly, the autunm season of 1908, seeing that the former is now almost beyond the range of calculation, would appear to have been a record one for marriages in this district, for still another was celebrated in Arrowtown on Wednesday last. The union was that of Miss Annie Thomson, second eldest daughter of Edward Thomson, Esq, Arrowtown, to Mr John Henderson of Roaring Meg, the Rev. Horace Packe, Vicar of Wakatipu, being officiating clergyman. The bride was charmingly attired in a light blae costume, with silk vest and facings, and a large white hat. Her two sisters were in attendance on her as bridesmaids and their dresses were a pretty shade of grey material. The bridegroom's brother, Mr O. Henderson, filled the role of best man. At the conclusion of the ceremony the I ridal party retired to the dining room, the marriage having taken place at the i essence of the bride's parents, and here a most tastefully prepared dejeAner was partaken of at which ihe customary felicitous speeches were made. After the party had been photographed Mr and Mrs Henderson left for Queenstown and took steamer on Thursday morning for The Clippings, on the lake side, where their new home is situated.
