„GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. Dunedin, report that prioes roled as under at their auction sale on Monday:— Oats—We submitted a few lines of fair feed sparrowbills, which sold at 2s to 2s OJd per bushel (sacks extra). Late quotations for seed and milling lines are unchanged. The demand for feed is not strong, and late quotations are barely maintained. Wheat—We offered fowl wheat, inferior to good, which sold at 2s 2d to 3s 6d per bushel (sacks in). Potatoes.—The demand is confined chiefly to prime lots of Northern Derwents, which are saleable at £3 7s 6d to £3 10s per ton. We offered a fair quantity of medium to good Derwents, and sold Northerns at £3 to £3 ss; Southerns, £2l7s 6d to £3 per ton (sacks in). Chaff.—The market is still over-supplied, except for extra prime quantity; last week's values are bandy maintained. We qnote: Prime oaten sheaf to £3 10s; good, £3 to £3 ss; medium to good, £2 15b to £3 per ton (bags extra). LATEST QUOTATIONS. Dunkdin, this day. Best bullocks are selling at from £7 15s to £8 15e; and medium to good, £5 10s to £6 17s 6d. Sheep—Best crossbred wethers, 14s to 15s 6d; medium to good, 12s 6d to 13s 9d j light 9s to Us 6d. Lambs, 5s 9d to 7s 6d. Sheepskins, best preen crossbreds, 4s to it 6d ; medium, 3s to 3s 9d ; best dry, 3s 9d to 4s 5d ; medium 2s 3d to 3s 3d. Rabbitskios, best winters, lld to Is; medium, 7id to lOJd; autumn, 7d to 9d j summer, 3d to s§d ; extra prime selected sorts, op to Is 6d. Hides, l|d to 3£d. Wheat, best Northern velvet, 4s 5d to 4s 6d; southern 4s to 4s 3d ; medium, 3s 6d to 3s 9d; best Tuscan and red, 4s to 4s 2d; medium, 3s 6d to 3s 9d. Oats—Prime malting, 2s 3d to 2s 4d; best bright, 2s 2£d to 2s 3d ; medium to good 2s Id to 2s 2d; extra for seed, 2s 4d to 2s 6d.
