SUNDERED.
[Obigual].
A field ; a path winds through it, ;.o hing more:
So looks it to the many eyes that scan The sunny slope of which it forma a part; The field, by Nature wrought the pathof man, 0 field, 0 path, dear to this one lone heart.
Two streams are flowing in their course, they meet—'tis often to: 'lwas thns we met, our banks were strewn with flowers, And in our windings, nought to stay our course. To ruffle the calm peace and tranquil hours; Or stem the current governed by lore's force.
One tool in heaven, the other's race not run—God wills it so : We parted thinking soon to meet again And track life's path together hand in hand; But, One above who wills and not in rain, Hu planned oar meeting in a happier land. Alice.
