To the District Officer at Queenstown. fE HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that we intend to construct a Water Race, for the purpose of driving machinery and for irrigation purposes, commencing at a point on Home Creek (the main source of the Ariel Race), about 200 yards above Michael John Malaghan's paddock, and terminating | at Section 10, Block XX., Shotover District. The length of such Race is about three-quarters of a mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is North and South, and will run through Crown Lands, and through private property, belonging to us—Robert Markland, Alexander M'Gillivray, and William M'Gillivray. The mean depth and breadth of such race is 2ft. by 18in., and it is capable of carrying two sluice heads of water.
