Secretary, in sealed envelopes, con* taining entrance money, qualification money, full description and age of horses, name of owner, and colors to be worn by riders. RULES AND REGULATIONS. The Boles of the Dunedin Jockey Club will be strictly enforced. By the term " district" horses shall be meant all horses owned by residents in the Wakatip district since the loth November, 1873. Three entries to be made for each race, or the pnbllc money will not be given i and another race nuy be snbsti* toted. No person to enter or nominate a horse unless he be a subscriber of not less than three guineas to the funds. Moreover, no person to enter or nominate a horse not his bo»<L .ri J- property, unless the slid subscription of three guineas be paid for the actual owuer also; under forfeiture of any race such horse may win. No entry will be received for any of the races except npon this coudition .—That all diaiMites, chums, and object ions ariaing out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or s majority of t hem; and their docis.ua upon all points connected with the carrying out of the above programme shall be final.
