Sir, —Suppose the runs are finally sold, who is to keep the commonages proposed to be set apart for cattle country from being trespassed upon by what the Duns tan Times styles " sheepiscs" ? There is only one law of trespass. Who is to proceed against tres passers 1 Under what Act or Ordinance will they proceed against, and under what authority and whose 1 Perhaps you can answer the above query, and relieve the doubts that I entertain as well as others that a now defined system, capable of being made more perfect, is to be bartered away for one that is undefined and indefinite. In other words that from ills we know of we are to fly to others we know not, and which may prove a heavier infliction to bo;ar.—l am, &c, M k 26th November, 1873.
