THEFTS FROM SHOPS.
AN INTERCHANGE SYSTEM. [Pee Puess Association.] AUCKLAND, November 27. At the Police Court Edwin Lowe, Ernest Lißter, Julia Li3ter, Lancelot Marshall, Tracey Ashley, Francis Corbett, Arthur Lewis and Ivan Wheaton were charged with theft and receiving stolen goods from shops in which they were employed, by means of an interchange system. All were found guilty. Lowe was sentenoed to two months' lmprisoncent, Lister and Mrs Lister to one month, and Marshall and Ashley to twenty-one days' each. Corbett was fined £2O and Lewis £lO. Wheaton, a lad, was ordered to come up for aentenco when called upon.
