CAPTAIN DICKSON’S PROGRESS. [From Oun Correspondent.] MILTON. March 8. Captain Dickson left Balclutlia at 8.30 and arrived at Milton at nino o’clock this morning. .Ho will arrivo at Mosgiel at 8.30 a.m. to-morrow.

Mr C. W. Hervey, secretary to the company, who returned from the south yesterday, stated, that the tour had been extremely successful so far, and passengers had been carried by Captain Dickson between each centre. At Mosgiel to-day a new engine would: be fitted to the Avro, ns tho old engine: had become a bit sluggish. Captain Dickson would spend a couple of dnvs in passenger flights at Mosgiel. Negotiations wero proceeding for a visit to Palmerston South, which would: probably bo undertaken next Monday. A couple of days would probably be spent in T-imaru to take up passengers who were disappointed on the outward trip, and Captain Dickson would probably fly back to Christchurch about tho end of next week. Mr Hervey will go south again jn a day or two..
