NEW ZEALAND AND THE WAR. PRAISE FROM AUSTRALIA. [From Our Cohresfondext,] WELLINGTON, November 15. This morning the Prime Minister received from Mr Holman, Prime Minister of New South Wales, a message which pays a very high tribute to the part taken by New Zealand in the war. The full text is:— On behalf of the Government and people; of New Smith Wales I venture to offer the heartiest fraternal felicitations on the great triumph of tha Allied arms and the glorious part played therein by the soldiers and people of your great Dominiou. New Zealand has never been found wanting throughout the war. Her brave and resolute people have fulfilled every duty of patriotism. Her soldiers, whom "I find the opportunity of observing at the front, have displayed every military virtue, undaunted courage, and unfailing discipline.

NO RECALL OF TROOPS. DOMINION DRAFTS T<K> FAR AFIELD. Sir James Allen was asked this morn* ing whether it was proposed to recall New Zealand troops on their wav to the front. He replied that 210' New Zealand troops were in the same position as the Australian troops who were being recalled. He had received word on November 9 that the troops on tho water had passed a port of call “ ail well,” and lie thought that they would be about at their destination.
