CANTERBURY RUGBY LEAGUE.
MEETING OP EXECUTIVE. The Management Committee of the Canterbury Rugby League met on Saturday eventing, Mr A, E. Hooper presiding over a good attendance. The Auckland league wrote in reference to a fixture between lae Auckland and Canterbury representative teams. After discussion, it was decided to hold over confirmation pending advice from the New Zealand Council. A report was received stating that the Linwood A-Sydenham game was not played owing to the referee appointed not taking tho field, and, though another official we available, and signified "that he would con'rol tho game, the players decided to postpone the fix'uro. Tho committee agreed to tho gnmo being played at the end of the season. . NEST SATURDAY'S GAMES. Th following are the fixtnros, grounds and referees for next Saturday: First Grade-—Sydenham v. Linwood, at Sydenham Park, Mr A. E. Hooper; Hornby v, Federal, at St Albans Park, Mr A. Morris. Second Grade—Addiniton v. Woolston, at South Park, Mr C. M'Lnchlan; Avon v. Hornby, at St Albans Park, Mr A, Brum* den: Sydenham a bye. Third Grade—Linwood A. v. Linwood B, at Linwood Park, Mr H. Ormandy; Woolston v. Hornby, at Hornby Mr Tillyshort; Sydenham v. Avon, at Sydenham Park, 1.40 p.m., Mr C. Eaton: Addington a bvo. Fourth Grade—Woolston A v. Woolston B, at Woolston Park, Mr C. M'Lellnnd; Linwood v. Sydenham, at Linwood Park, 1.40 p.m.. Mr T.
