Mrs J. Burgess, Mayfield, has received advico that her son, Lance-Corporal J. W. Burgess, was wounded on July 15 and was admitted to hospital. LanceCorporal Bnrgesii has been wounded twice within tho last three months.
Mr J. H. Newman, Havelock Street, Ashburton, has been advised that his son, Trooper E. W. Newman, who it was renorted last week had rejoined his unit after an illness, was again admitted to hospital in Egypt on July 26, suffering from malaria.
