LINWOOD v. EDGEWARE. Two matches, between teams representing! the Linwood and Edgerware Croquet ■ Clubs, were played last week, and resulted in a win for Linwood The scores are as follows, the Edgeware players being mentioned first:— FIRST GRADE. Linwood Green. Doubles —Mrs Beanland and Mrs Smith lost to Miss Sprosen and Mr* Hilson, 4-26; Mrs Bowen and Mrs Barnard lost to Airs Snell and Mhs Matson, 8-26; Mrs Knight and Mrs Horton beat Mrs Marriott and Mrs Am- 1 brose, 26-13. Singles—Mrs Beanland lost to Mis* Sprosen, 4-26; Mrs Smith lost to Mrs Hilaon, 24-26; Mrs Bowen beat Mrs Shell. 26-2; Mrs Barnard beat Mrs Matson, 26-15; Mrs Knight lost to Mrs Marriott, 18-26; lbs Horton lost to Mrs Ambrose, 24-26 SECOND GRADE.
