Sir, —I write in reference to Ihe system that it is in vogue on the Sumner tram line. The old two-decker trailers that have seen service for over ten years to my knowledge are still in use, and I think it is- high time they were scrapped or better sent up t« the museum. There is always a crush on this line, which calls for trailers, but rattletraps ought to be dispensed with. I hope this matter will not be overlooked and that the Tramway Board will substitute for these old-fashionea out-of-date trailers such new ones as we se.. on the New Brighton and other lines. —I am, eto., MATAWHERO.
