RANGlOSA•Yesterday, being the last market day of the year at Rangiora, there was a largo attendance at the sale*, end business had a brisk time. Tho yarding of sheep comprised 184 fats end 654 stores. The fat sheep were in demand and good prices ruled. Best fat wethers wade 31s 4d to 32s 7d, others 28s 4d to 30s 3d; best ewes, 32s to 83s 3d. others 25s 3d to 30s 6d ; hoggets 3is 9a, and lambs 25s 6d to 26s Sd. . , All the stores were disposed oi at excellent prices. Two-tooth wethers sold at .4* to*2ss 9d, two and four-tooth wethers at 20s to 27b 3d, four-tooth wethers at 2os Gel to 265, two-tooth ewes at 27a Gd, fonr-tooth ewes at 235, and aged ewes witn lambs (Ml counted) at 17s to 20s 6rt. There was an entry of 5o head of cattle. The final weekly stock ealo for this year was held at the Tinwald yards yesterday in tho presence of a large attendance of farmers, There was a large yardmg oi sheep ami cattle, a.nd prices were firm throughout Fat cattle and fat sheep were in good do maud and nearly all offered were sold.
