FIRST CANTERBURY BOARD AT

KAIKOURA

Tho First Canterbury Military Service Board sat at Kaikoura on Thursday; present—Messrs J. S- Evans, S.M. (chairman). J. D. Millton and E. C. Studboime. Captain Pilkington represented the military authorities. Lieutenant Edmoud Parsons was also in attendance.

The appeal of W. H. Brown was adjourned till February. Francis Lawson, Phillip Jacob (Native) and Henry Bleasdalo were ordered to go into camp with the March draft; Frederick G. Schroeder with the April draft; and Henry H. Comer, William S. Hopkins and Archie C. Renner with the May draft. Tho appeals of Albert W. Renner and Fred C Comor wore adjourned sine die.

Arthur H. Langescn was removed to Class B.
