BOROUGH COUNCILS.
SPREYDON. The Sprcydon Borough Council mot last night; present.—the Mayor (Mr AY, H. AAinuor) and Councillors E. ,E. O’Rourke, D. Williamson, G. H. Rudd, A. E! Brower, E. H. Clark, A. Manhir'o, AV. P. Galiagan and P. J. Diack. A letter was received from Dr Chosson, District Health Officer, calling attention to a nuisance arising from a culvert in Barrington Street. The matter was referred to the AVorks Committee. Correspondence was received from Mr i. Thompson, general manager of the Cimetchurch Tramway Board, enclosing a cheque for £IOOO on temporary loan nt 3 per cent. Tho Finance Committee reported that tho receipts for tho month amounted to £5Ol 2s Accounts amounting to £l9l Is wore passed for payment.
