MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The committeo of the Phillipstown Kindergarten mot at 21, Phillips Street, en Thursday. Mrs Williams presided, and six members were present. Iho hc>ad mistress (Miss Willis) reported*: the number on the school roll sut 40, the highest attendance 48, the lowest IC, and the average 38. At the second mothers' meeting Dr Eleanor Baker had delivered an in'eresting eddroas. The treasurer reported that school subscriptions for the mon'h amounted to £2 9s, money collected per Mrs Williams £7 10s, and °oodi sold 2s, making a to'a.l of £lO Is. Mrs Burn and Miss Bradbury were appointed a Visiting Committeo for the month.
