MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Canterbury Land Board was hold in the Lands Offico, ’ Provincial Buildings, yesterday; present— Mr W. H. Skinner, Commissioner of Crown Lands (chairman), and Messrs R. ATAuley*. and D. Stdwell. Mr T. Gee was granted leavo of absence, being, at Auckland. The following applications for land were approved:—Section 3, Seafield Settlement. 390 acres 3 roods 2 poles, R.L.—Gerald Kennard; Section 36814, Rollesby, 7780 acres, S.G.R. —Hugh Hammond; Section 1, Drayton Settlement, 125 acres 2 roods 24 poles, R-L.—Stephen Hurst; Section 9, Craigmore, 251 acres 1 rood 10 pole 3, R.L.—Albert F. 3. Hines; Sections 2 and 2a, Kowhatu Settlement, 632 acres, R.L.—Richard Sullivan. The following applications for transfer and sub-leasea were approved:! —L.P. 1694, Section 19, Morice Settlement, 93 acres 10 poles—Frances Radford to Horace E. Baines; L.P. 1734, Section 12, Mills Settlement, 25 acres, 8 roods— Adam Adamson to Lucy Adamson; L.P. 903. Section 12, Wharenui Settlement, 2 acres 9 \ roods 4 poles—Elien Eede to Margaret, Dallard; L.P. 1589, Section 13, , Rosew ill Settlement, S 7 acres—H. M.
