At the monthly meeting of tho Board of Management of the Christchurch United Friendly Societies’ Dispensary' ou Thursday a presentation of a framed testimonial was made to Brother T. Walker, late secretary of the dispensary. Brother J. Y. Beattie, the first president of the. dispensary, in handing the recipient the testimonial, which bore the signatures of all past presidents and also present officers and members of tho board, referred- to the long and faithful services rendered to the institution by Brother Walker and wished him long life and happiness
