EXCLUSION OF GERMANS.

[Per Press Association.] NAPIER, June 19\t a crowded meeting in the Municipal Theatre to-night, when Lady Stout gave an anti-German address, the following resolutions wero carried:— " (1) That this large and representative meeting of the citizens of Napier hereby unanimously resolve thafc the Prime Minister be-respectfully requested to at onco have legislation passed to prevent any naturalised British subject of German parentage" from holding or being appointed to the. position of a member of the Legislative Council, House of Representatives or council of any local authority, or from voting at any such elections."
