CHEVIOT. The annual meeting oi the Cheviot Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held on Saturday, ( Mr T. C. Robinson presiding. There was a large attendance of members. The balancesheet, showing a credit of ±M6 8s lOd, was adopted. Officers for the year were elected as follows: Patitons, Sir Charles Campbell, Mr G. W. Forbes, M.P., and Mr A. W. Rutherford; president, Mr R. C. "Wilson; vice-presid-ents, Messrs W. Payne, A. W. Rutherford, jun., and T. Stevenson ; Committee, Messrs W. Hughes, Martin, Heard, T. Wilkinson, Evans, J. M’Ad.im, J. M’Taggart, R. M’Knight, Cleeson, Childs, Flaherty, Hiatt, T. Blackley, J. Macfarlane, M’Grath. Bonser*, C. Mowat, Tunbrick, Cottrell. O’Connor, Tott, Dalton. Hogan, P. Jadtman, James M’Adam, M’Laren and T, Taylor; auditor, Mr W. M. Cottrell. Votes of thanks were passed to the outside contributors, the Press, the secretary, the retiring president and Mr Ro pinson.
