DOYLESTON CLUB. The annual meeting of the Doyleston Cricket Club was held on Monday even ing, Mr G. Cooke presiding over a good attendance. The balance-sheet, showing receipts to have been £8 os(sd, and expenditure £7 iSs, cash-in hand 7a 6d, account owing £2 5s lOd, leaving a debit balance of £1 18s 4d, was read and adopted The following officers wore elected for the ensuing yoar:—Patron, the Hon R. H. Rh6des; president, M- F. G. Frampton; vicepresidents-, Messrs T. Toner, .W. M'Lachlan. J. W. Blackmore, W. 0. Rennie, W. Brooks, P. Smith, W. J. Doyle; secretary, Mr H. Quartermaine ; treasurer, Mr S. J. Irwin; club captain, Mr F. G. Frampton; vice-captain. Mr W. Oliver; committee, Messrs T. Wood, S. W. Hewitt, J. W. Blackmore, G. W. Cooke, C. Skinner, T. D. Burnett, W. Paget; delecato to Ellesmerc Cricket Association, Mr W. Oliver; selection committee, captain, vice-captai'i and Mr T. Wood; custodian, Mr T. D. Burnett. It was dec'ded to open the season on Saturday, September 12, with a match married v. single. It was also decided to make a, small donation to the library as soon as funds would permit.
